Program for Users of Municipal Facilities: GatherGuard

The traditional TULIP program has been rebranded to GatherGuard:

GatherGuard is a low cost insurance policy that protects both the Tenant User and your municipality. Largely there are no changes from the previous TULIP program, with the exception of a requirement for venue locations to be specifically identified rather than just utilizing any location in the town.

Click HERE to download the spreadsheet and add your locations where events typically take place.

Once this spreadsheet is e-mailed to the Fund Underwriter’s office at ecooney@connerstrong.com, the “Unique Links” and “Venue Codes” will be assigned and will be searchable in the gatherguard.com website.

 Venue ID Codes

  • To purchase coverage the Facility User will visit gatherguard.com • Select Get a Quote and answer a few questions about the  event • Where prompted, enter the applicable venue ID code provided by the municipality, or search for the venue • Complete the application and purchase coverage

Direct Referral Link

  • If the municipality has provided the Facility User with a direct referral link: • Copy and paste the referral URL into their browser. They will see a message that displays the municipality’s name, and the venue code will be pre-filled for them • Complete the application and purchase coverage
